Pushkar is located 11 Kms west of Ajmer. It is sacred to the
Hindus as it is believed to have been created by Lord Bramha
himself. It is predominantly a temple town with about 400
temples and a lake encircled by 52 Ghats. Pushkar is also
the site of one of the largest cattle fairs in the world.
Ajmer being close, all the nice places of visit on offer at
Ajmer are accessible from Pushkar.
